I concur in waves...

some all time first sets, here's six for now...

03-01-1969 Fillmore West my favorite 69 show...the magnificent 7 launch into one of the best Cryptical suites out there...the entrance into New Potato is as lysergic sounding as it gets... Doin that Rag, Cosmic Charlie,
04-29-1971 Best Handle to Handle, Second that Emotion, Dark Hollow each loaded with that quintessential '71 sound...
09-28-1972 Stanley Theatre -- mentioned above, as tight as the Dead get...Ramble On Rose, He's Gone...
09-18-1974 Dijon -- what a sound to this show, the mars Hotel is open for business during a very sweet Scarlet Begonias...UJB and Black Throated Wind (best version ever) are great, Jack Straw and Truckin' begged to be heard
09-03-1977 Englishtown -- some of the best versions of the following tunes can be heard here: Half Step, Music, Peggy-O, TLEO...
10-15-1983 MSG smoking Stranger, Dire Wolf, Brown Eyed Trouble Maker, Big Railroad Blues is on fire, Collosal Let It Grow

Yeah, I almost threw 9-18-74 in just for the UJB opener and what I assume is one of the last FOTDs played at the original tempo. Great call.

whoops - something wrong with the archives sndbd? after the rough start to Truckin it smooths out nicely, but now it sounds like Jers mich is off for Loser.

Wore out a tape of this growing up - a dozen songs sandwiched by a 10m Truckin opener/20m playin closer.
